Hi, I’m Jessie. I currently live in VA where I was born & raised. I pay the bills by working as an insurance agent representative. I first went to the OBX when I was 5 years old. Though I’m kind of a drifter, one day, I plan to drift to the shores of the Outer Banks where I’ll spend the remainder of my life with Yoji (my cat).
- I tend to do things a little unorthodox… but I am just trying to find my happiness.
- I’m a walking disaster. (Seriously, accident proneness runs in the family).
- I remember things in gruesome detail. It’s both a blessing and a curse.
- I cry on command. Other triggers include (but are not limited to): stress, frustration, happiness, or if a movie/show/song is about (
love,death, puppies). - I don’t like my food to touch, seriously, it’s gross.
- I drive barefoot. Always.
- I am stubborn and stick to my beliefs. But I am also very open minded. There isn’t anything you can’t tell me.
- I can sing my ABC’s backwards correctly, every time.
- I love card & board games especially Monopoly. If someone asks me to play a game, the answer is always yes.
- I absolutely love Twilight. I’ve read them five times so don’t hate.
- I wear Ocean Potion suntan lotion instead of perfume sometimes because the smell reminds me of the beach and calms me down when I’m stressed.
- I have insomnia. It’s very bad.
- I saw Taylor Swift once when I was shopping in American Eagle in Charlottesville, VA, and she was shopping in there at the same time. I’ve also met an actor from The Dark Knight (David Dastmalchian). That is pretty much the extent of cool things I have experienced.
- I always want to know what time it is. Therefore – I always have my cell on me. And why doesn’t anyone put a clock in their bathroom!?
- I have three tattoos; a chinese symbol meaning “the ocean” on my outer right ankle, the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse on my left back shoulder blade, and a seagull silhouette on the top of my right foot.
- And six piercings. Three in each ear.
- I love the Outer Banks with everything I’ve got.
